We are raising $6 Million to Buy and Renovate Our New Home for Struggle of Love Foundation
Struggle of Love Foundation is raising $6 million for a new home where we can spread our love even further. The new LOVE Center in Denver’s Montbello neighborhood will give our 20-year-old BIPOC-owned organization much-needed room to grow and thrive.
With increased square footage, the new LOVE Center will securely house Struggle of Love’s proven and trusted programming all under one roof, making operations more efficient for staff and services more accessible to the community. Our team of internal leaders and external nonprofit and civic partners are ready to take the next step toward making our vibrant, multi-purpose space a reality. Show us some LOVE!

a letter from our executive director
I am elated to share a major milestone in our organization’s journey, one that represents not only growth but a strengthened commitment to the community we serve. Over the past 20+ years, Struggle of Love Foundation has enhanced the lives of Denver’s underserved youth and families by providing essential resources, support, and opportunities for growth and empowerment. As our reach and impact have expanded, we are now taking an exciting step forward: purchasing a new building to serve as our permanent home.
-
This building will be more than just a structure; it will be a beacon of hope and opportunity. With a dedicated space, we can continue to build on the success of our programs, offering more comprehensive support and serving more individuals and families in need. We envision a place where children can find tutoring and mentorship, where families can access essential services, and where community members can come together to share, grow, and uplift one another.
The impact of this building will be transformative for our organization and the community. It will allow us to:
Expand our programs
Create a community hub
Provide stability and sustainability
Our capital campaign goal to make this vision a reality is $6 million, and we are calling upon our community, partners, and supporters to join us in this transformative journey. By investing in this building, you’re helping us create a legacy that will benefit countless lives for years to come.
LaKeshia Hodge,
Founder and Executive Director
